Jax doesn’t bark excessively, but he does get over-excited and bark when he (thinks he) perceives something suspicious — which may or may not be an accurate perception since he has impaired vision. And he definitely has “selective yorkie hearing” when he’s excited by something, so it’s difficult to shift his attention away from the suspicious sight/sound/movement.

However you address the barking, be sure you’re not inadvertently rewarding your pup for barking. If you try to distract him from barking by offering a treat, you’re likely to teach him to bark when he wants a treat.
