I appreciate your response. This is a specialized vet (not my regular one). He is the head of his department and very knowledgable. I will take that over his bedside manner at this time. As I want the best working on Thumper's case.

Thumper's regular vet is amazing and wonderful. I know I can go to her with any questions I may have.

I appreciate the feedback. I think just writing the post helped to get my feelings out. I am much better today
