Well we're three weeks out now and the Vet took off his cone and we just have three drops a day to administer. He's doing great so far. He definitely can see as he can find the ball when we play fetch. He also isn't bumping into things anymore. We need to go in for an eye pressure check early in January and then another visit at the end of January. So far so good. I sure hope my husband heals as well as Deuce when he gets his cataract done! I bet he won't be as cooperative.
Our biggest dilemma is whether to cut off his topknot since the vet had to shave about a third of it off. I'm kind of liking seeing more of his eyes ( or eye actually since its only cut around one). I also found that Deuce likes a head massage which we got into when I was grooming him with the cone on. This will morph into a new thread on here under grooming.
So sorry to hear about Guiness's kidney problems. Praying for the best.
