I would never let (almost) five pound Jax outside by himself. Our house is surrounded by woods filled with predators, and we also have hawks and vultures overhead.
I also would never tell (or allow) a dog to “git” a raccoon. The raccoon could have rabies and, even if not, could be vicious if cornered. Although, better a raccoon than a skunk. |

Yeah, I would have been OUT of my house and not left my dogs there either.
