I am so very sorry for your loss. These sweet little babies have a way of capturing our hearts, then leaving a hole that just cannot be filled when they leave us. No matter how much one prepares themselves for that day, it's still very pain when it comes.
Try to take comfort in, she passed in her home with all her familiar sounds and smells and not in a scarey vets crate away from her family.
A time will come when you can remember the happier times when Paige was not ill, you may have a tear in your eyes, but you will have a smile on your face remembering.
It will take time, perhaps a long time, but it will come.
