Price is really determined by your location more then anything. Here in Maryland things are crazy expensive. Covid has made wait times much longer here then they used to be. I have been going to my vet for about 13 years so they know we well if I have an emergency they get me in as quick as they can and the same goes for if it is an issue that can't wait a long time but other then that is is about a 2 week wait time. I wish I could remember how much Callie's ultrasound was at the internist but it was lumped in with a lot of other things so I can't seem to pull it out of my head right now. If your dog is having a pretty serious issue a month is way to long but it really depends on what is going on.
