My vet has 3 vets on her staff including herself, she her self is in very high demand, before the Pandemic it would take me 2 weeks to see her, but I could have seen one of the other vets sooner, now with the pandemic everything is curbside pick up, now it takes me a week to see only her. If your vet works alone I can understand a months wait which is really awful.
I can't help you with your 2nd question, fortunately I haven't needed any of them. Others will chime in shortly.
