Disagreements and differences of opinion occur all the time here and are normally responded to with interest and helpful or at least pleasant or good-natured comments, even when parties violently disagree yet no one feels they want to leave the forum afterward. I'm talking about those comments which satisfy the meaning I linked to, who just seem unnecessarily disagreeable for the sake of disagreeing, nitpicking even and whose comments even cause hurt feelings of some. I've read some have left this forum due to what they felt were rather nasty, even ad hominem 'attacks'. Honestly, some comments seem to me to almost purposefully harsh and persistent.

This forum has shrunk from the size it used to be and some have said they've heard those people left due to feeling attacked. I'm always up for a good disagreement and I've learned a lot during some of them, others I saw too much real anger and hurt and what I would call trolling from continuing ugly remarks and insinuations on a supposedly informative discussion forum on Yorkies at times when a particular poster or group of posters keep on being particularly mean-spirited.

We've even had a thread from a YT moderator started to address those types of objectionable comments and some have been suspended or banned. One male poster I used to particularly enjoyed reading left this forum and stated he was leaving for what I'd term being trolled. A good-natured comment can still show disagreement without hurting or outright angering someone else.
Nothing you have said lately was "lost on me".

I believe the topic here has been lost on you; but, you have posted today with an apparent ax to grind. Gotta wonder if it is your ax or someone else's as I have not really had any "discussions" with you lately. Perhaps you might want to be a bit more direct rather than "insinuating" things.

This constant complaining about people running people off is really old...people don't use these forums the way they used to because they go to Facebook and other social media.

Anyway....WAY off topic.
