This past Saturday our 6 year old Lola began vomiting and became lethargic. We rushed her to Animal emergency and she was there until Tuesday. She was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. She is eating very little and still lethargic. After the stay at hospital several days they released her. She was sent home with meds for pain, to entice eating and another for nausea. I need information on a low fat diet as she’s not liking the special diet foods prescribed. Also anyone with this issue on their pet can you tell me how long they’ll be lethargic and sad. Lola was a normal loving and playful dog prior to this happening.
