I will admit there have been small accidents but potty training a yorkie should be frequent and consistent.
Tried pee pads (disposable and washable ) with both my yorkies and I always ended up frustrated from pee/poo on the floor. |
Thanks for your response. But over the years, I have used pee pads for all my yorkies. They have all been females and have had no problems using their pee pads. I don’t want to get up in the middle of the night to take her out. We live in a condo so not like letting her out in the back yard.
She does very well on her one pad. Uses it to pee and poop nearly all the time. She sleeps in her crate beside our bed and lets us know when she has to go. We take her out to our porch, she goes and we all go back to bed. No worries about weather or getting dressed to go out.
Just wished she used her pads inside our main living area. But if this is the best she can do that will be fine. Hopefully she will use the others as she matures. They have always worked well for us for many years. So will continue to use them.
