My vet has you call when you get there and then the tech calls you back and checks them in asking the normal questions then you give them your pup. After the vet exams them then they call and tell you how the exam went and if anything needs to be done. If something needs to be done they do it and then the tech calls to tell you they are done and to call the front desk to pay. You do that and then they give you the pup back. We know a lot of my vet staff really well so they wave from the window. I’m sure there are differences in every vet but it’s probably similar. It’s weird though. I can’t wait to get back to normal.
