I have been getting flu shots for the last 20 plus years, even while working colds were far and few between. Then I moved from NY where I always drove to my work place to Pennsylvania where I now had to take a commuter bus to my Manhattan job. Bus held 57 passengers with a 1 1/2 hour drive to the city. I did catch a few colds. I retired Dec. 2010 I still get my flu shots and no colds for 10 years, so, the secret to no more colds is to
retire, children's colds are so contagious.
