Awesome news. Yes, elevated hematocrit is indicative of dehydration which can happen quickly as I mentioned before. That is why I never let a pup go without food for over one day and I always check their gums and skin whenever they are not feeling well. Often they can crash quickly as they are small and don't have a lot of reserve.
