To be fair, there have been studies that show Double P II can have positive effects for dogs suffering from Intervertebral disk disease. However, IVDD is a progressive, degenerative spinal disease that can result in paralysis if left untreated, so I suppose it might make sense to risk what otherwise might be considered drastic treatment when there’s evidence it might slow the progression of the disease. I don’t think I would take the risk with my dog, especially with Jax who weighs less than five pounds, but I can understand why some pet owners might find the risk acceptable, given the alternative.
