I'm going to keep my mouth shut on some of these unnecessary comments on this thread. Personal digs are never something I think are kind to bring up.

Can I just ask a simple question that maybe I missed? Cody is wanting to play again and is acting normal? Is he acting in pain? If not, why is he still on meds?

Jackson had a back issue possibly two weeks ago. After jumping in the pool (like he does almost every night) I think he tweaked something. Woke up very sore and uncomfortable. I got him to our vet within 3 hours. She gave me Gabapentin and Metacam. I did one dose of each for pain and inflammation. The next day he was 1000% fine and back to normal. So I stopped all medications (he has tummy issues as well so if he's back to normal, I'd prefer to take him off any thing that could potentially upset his stomach) and just tried to keep him fairly chill for a few days (no jumping in the pool or the car etc like he usually does). After a week, he was back to his normal self.

What is the motive or reason behind keeping him on herbs or medications if he is wanting to play again - he obviously feels better? I am just confused.
