Cody gets to rambunctious when playing, even if it's just rolling a ball, he fetches it then pounces on and off things. I'm keeping him as calm as possible but cannot control his jumping on and off the sofa unless I harness him and leash him to me. He is still not fully recovered. Some time back I had a bench made for him that is 20 inches high including the cushion that's at the window where he can sit to look out. Since his injury he has not tried to jump up on it. Yesterday he went to it, looked at it, then turned away, this shows me he cannot make that jump, yet, my bed is 27 inches high and he will jump on that when it's bedtime, and in the mornings he will jump on and off until my feet hit the floor. I keep the bedroom door closed in the daytime to keep him from jumping on it.

My vet will let me know when it's ok to resume normal activity, until then I do the best I can to keep him calm.

I always follow my instincts, they have always worked for me in that past.
Thank you Dana for your well wishes (((hugs)))
