When my little guy was a pup he would all of the sudden start favoring his right front let. but a few minutes later he would act fine. I called my vet the 2nd time it happened and she said it was possible is growth plate hadn't closed yet and was slipping out of place. She told me just to rub it and that would help it back in. We've had no problems since his growth plate closed. Also these little pups like lots of attention so I would scoop him up and rub his little leg and kiss and tell him it's alright. If he stills favors it after that put a call into your vet.
