So sorry to hear that sweet Cody is still not fully on the mend! Tyrone's repeated colitis attacks when he was younger were severe, and there were times when we were unable to give him even his meds to treat the nausea. For whatever reason, his stomach is not nearly as sensitive now, but we are VERY careful not to introduce new foods/treats...even on an "only this once" basis. It simply is not worth the potential days of problems which may follow. There were times that he would not eat for prolonged periods when he was not feeling well, chicken and rice included, and it was scary!

Hopefully you will get a chance to get your regular vet's advice on how to progress today. You trust her, and she knows little Cody. Hang in there, and let us know how you both are doing after she gets back to you. You are in my thoughts! (((hugs)
