I only mention this as we need to know exactly what meds our babies are taking at all times in case of emergency, drug history required.

Sure glad little Cody on the mend. Might try leashing him close to you up on the couch to prevent all jumping, even onto pillows. In his inflamed state, even a tiny jump can cause more irritation and inflammation, even injury, as inflammation causes swelling around it, extra pressure on tender, injured areas that become more easily re-injured. Just a thought. Cody, boy, now you get well!

Having a Yorkie in the house just like having a tiger by the tail!
My huge mistake, it is Metronidazole I was given to stop the diarrhea, he is also getting Methocarbamol muscle relaxer.

Thank you for catching my huge mistake.

I have used the harness and leash to control the jumping when I'm in the living sitting, what ever room I'm in he's there to and blocked off from the rest of the house. He hates the harness, he hates anything on his body, when I take off the harness he's zooming around the room, I don't know what's worse, zooming or jumping.
