It actually not all that safe to feed puppies raw because there systems are just not prepared for that not that I’m a fan of feeding any dog raw. Grain free is not necessary and a lot of the grain free foods are high in peas, lentils and potatoes which is being linked to eat disease in dogs. I personally am a huge fan of Royal Canin lots of science behind their food and they are a very trustworthy company.
