Yes, it’s not just common, it’s necessary, for a pup that age to take lots of naps. They play hard and they sleep hard.

Frankly, she’s a little young and small to be away from her mother. Most good breeders keep small breed pups like yorkies with their mothers until 12 weeks, to give them the best possible start in life. So do be sure to have Nutrical or something similar on hand for at least the next few months, in case of emergency. Small, active pups are prone to life-threatening hypoglycemia attacks.
