He's home yayyyy
When I took him to the vet Sunday night there are forms you have to sign agreeing to several things. On his form it had any collars, leashes, harnesses, toys, blankets should not left, they are not responsible if they cannot be found, so I made sure Sunday they gave me his harness. leash and collar.

When I went to pick him up you have to call to let them know you're there. I had his collar and stuff, I asked the receptionist to send someone out to get his harness. My vet is right off a very busy high speed highway. I tell her he must be harnessed because when he sees me he's gonna be like a bull coming out of the bull chute, he cannot be held.
Out comes a tech holding the bull and all hell breaks loose when the bull sees me, I let my window down and yell put him through the window, dumb A$$ woman, the dog is going ballistic, I have a compact car, not much room between me and the steering when, she's saying don't you have his harness, I am getting attacked by Cody climbing all over me, knocking off my sunglasses, blutooth knocked out of my ear, his booster seat is on the passenger seat so no room to sit there, I tell her she was supposed to come out and get his harness and not to carry him and this is the reason why.

I managed to lasso him up and get him in the booster seat. This was shear laziness on her part, she didn't want to make 2 trips to the car. Vet made the rules on pick ups and drop offs, not me. All I wanted was to get out of there and get my baby home. He cried the 35 minute ride home, I had to drive with one hand rubbing his throat and the other on the wheel for him to not cry. When I needed 2 hands the crying started lol.
I had prepared the living room sofa and love seat piling them with pillows so he couldn't jump off and blocked the bedroom door way to keep him from jumping on the bed which is on the high side.

I'm thinking once he's home he would eat and go to sleep after two stressful days at the vet....wrong.... he was all hyped up, It was 5PM way past his dinner time so I fed him right away, he drank his entire bowl of water (it holds one cup) then out to make a poop, back in like a bucking bronco and leaps up from the side of the love seat and plops down on all the pillows lol, who knew he could get up using the side of the furniture, he never did that before. Keeping him from jumping up on and down from sofa is a challenge, but he is 100 % himself. He was sent home with the below meds to be taken for 2 weeks, follow up in 10 days.

Rimadyl - anti-inflammatory

Cervical - pain manager
Double P II Herb - helps in spine healing

Methocarbamol - muscle relaxer
