Same here. Everything must be on hold if we don't want to catch it though it's been over 18 years since I've ever had a cold or things like that.

Doubt whether anyone would have even listened to a two week hiatus request unless they arrested them or something, even now, let alone when the disease was first known. Since the mortality rate is so low, most younger folks don't suffer that much from having it, people, especially the young, just don't take it seriously enough to alter their behavior that long.
