There are a lot of people that read this thread so it’s also helping other readers. I am also not trying to offend you. No good breeder or even halfway decent breeder let’s a puppy go that young no matter what the vet says. Yorkies should be with their moms until 12 weeks but they at least need to be with them until 8 weeks when they can get their first shots. I am curious how if you have such a trusted vet then why didn’t you ask them? Most vets feel puppies should stay with the moms until 8 weeks. Vets also can‘t know every single breed standard. Sure a 6 week old puppy can probably survive and that’s what the vet has said is fine. The vet is not saying it’s best or recommend or that it will thrive at that age. Due to the bad breeder you could be looking at serious health issues but I’m sure your not going to believe me.
