Vets see this type of problem frequently and it needn't break the bank to get your little one some real, professional help. Imagine the stress of constantly hurting and/or intensely itching ears you can't do anything about for weeks on end. You'd go nuts - we all would so off we go to the doctor when our ears act up. Our dogs are often left to deal with it however they can until its so severe the dog becomes ill. Repeated scratching eventually damages the ear tissue, setting up still more inflammation, rawness, swelling and discomfort as bacteria take hold. Just the right ointment or shot along with a lesson on how to keep the ears clean can soothe that ear problem right down and get your precious one comfortable again.
