Probably she could feel more air on her body, her tummy feeling the temperature of the floor more easily, maybe even felt a little vulnerable sans her old coat or realized she could feel more exposure across her genitalia/bottom or something was different and she didn't know what to do about it. Once she realized the new sensations wouldn't hurt her, she began to adapt and accept. It's a pretty common reaction in dogs I've had and my sister had a miniature poodle that would hide under the daybed the rest of the day after coming home from a grooming session and come out the next day as if she adored her new "do". Her standard poodle would whine and moan when he saw his fur falling to the ground during home grooms!
