I don’t have any first hand experience with hypoglycemia attacks, but I read quite a bit about it when Jax was very small and at risk. There can be many contributing factors: stress, exercise, cold environment (sitting in the air conditioning?), parasites, certain diseases (liver disease, Addison’s)....
I’ve read — although I don’t know whether it’s true — that overuse of Nutrical can actually cause hypoglycemic attacks. Again, I don’t know whether it’s true. There seem to be strong pro-regular-use and anti-regular-use opinions among yorkie breeders on that subject, so you should follow your vet’s advice.
I hope your baby stabilizes. |
