As many of you know my Cali has had hawk encounters of the worst kind but survived. But we are noticing a lot more of them lately so folks please be careful. If your pup is too big to be carried off, understand a hawk will disable it and eat it right there on the ground. Don’t get complacent where they are concerned and remember the hawks are protected by the International Migratory Bird Act and the fine is stiff!
