After reading many threads past and present regarding GI issues, I would have never thought that my older Biewer would end up possibly being put on a prescription diet. We are not at that point yet but it could be a possibility if current treatment fails.

Can any of you here that have pups with similar issues tell me of your experience on prescription diets (Hills, Purina, etc). How did they work for your pup's GI issues? Did one work for you better than the other? How long did it take for your pup to adjust and for you to start seeing results with better stool production?
