Maybe show the dogs where the noises are coming from by taking them on a walk to see the fireworkks and being happy and praising them there? Showing the forth of July can be so fun and full of treats (maybe a bite of bbq)!
Or maybe that would backfire, i am NOT an expert. My dog was so afraid of thunder and it was hard though and nothing worked well, but treats did the most.
