Couldn't say it any better than nanajoy. Losing a dear pet equals that of losing a family member to most doglovers. Worst time in your life, the missing of that baby and the grieving so awful. No doubt there is another little 'street girl' out there badly in need of love and care and a wonderful home. Keep us posted.
