Thanks for the replies. Rocky had some retained baby teeth removed when he was neutered between seven and eight months old. I too use a water additive and he plays with Kong dental chew toys. I give him one Greenie (tiny sized) before bedtime each night and hold it so he only takes small pieces with each bite. It takes him a lot of chews before he swallows so I hope that is helping clean his teeth at the gum line. His mouth is the one place he won't have any part of me touching. I will have the vet take a look at his next exam. |
