In general, the chicken & rice diet is only used for four or five days, since its not nutritionally complete and most minor digestive issues resolve in that time frame unless there’s an underlying problem. However, I’m only giving general reassurances. You should be in contact with your vet and follow his/her advice.

Thank you for all your advice for it is greatly appreciated. He started on the diet Friday and his yellow diarrhea started Saturday morning so at the end of the day today will be four days. He still has yet to have any type of stool since Saturday morning so we shall see what happens. I will post an update here on this thread in a couple days. Thank you!
