I’m mostly wondering about adding different proteins. Like if I’m feeding the Honest Kitchen Turkey as the main meal should I feed canned turkey also? Can I switch between canned chicken, beef and turkey as a topper or will that upset their tummies?
Some dogs have issues with the change and others don’t. If they don’t have sensitive stomachs it should be ok. It might be a try and see type of thing. Generally all dogs should get yearly blood work especially when they get older so you can catch health things early because it can show stuff that you can’t find just on a physical examination.
