Thank you all for your helpful responses. The little female Yorkie that we have been bottle feeding is now 3 weeks old as of this past Friday night and she has been steadily gaining weight. Saw our vet Wednesday as it appeared that she had a hard time keeping one eye open...found out she had a little infection that we are treating with an eye drop and a little antibiotic included in her formula. She is very active and starting to walk.
She is the sweetest little baby! We have had litters before although this is the first time we have ever had to bottle feed. It has been such a wonderful experience watching her grow! |
