I just used an in-home dog sitter and never took her on an airplane or around anyone's pet I did not know. Her health was more important than the law, in my humble opinion, so that's what I did.
With her having to get constant vet care I don’t know that my vet would go for that unless I had an exemption. I’m thinking she might qualify but if she doesn’t I will have to look at things then. I’m not really sure how much time she has left. I really thought we were looking at saying good bye when she had her liver infection in December and she had another time a month and a half ago or so that I thought she wasn’t going to make it but she pulled through. Her weight is stable for now but I know it will start going back down at some point again and she will continue to waste. I’m just trying to keep her comfortable at this point.
