I tried to get an exemption for Piccolo when she came down with cutaneous vasculitis at the age of 3. She was so sick but still could not get an exemption from the state and my vet tried. I'm for vaccines, but in this case I became a rebel about it. She lived a long and happy life until she passed last year at 14 and a half with no vaccines after the age of 3. I just used an in-home dog sitter and never took her on an airplane or around anyone's pet I did not know. Her health was more important than the law, in my humble opinion, so that's what I did. |
