Sick or immuno compromised dogs should not be vaccinated. You might ask your vet about titers to see if she still has antibodies active from prior vaccines. If you do get an exemption, you may have to sign a paper making you totally responsible if she should bite someone, and the state would require her to be euthanized. I don’t mind signing a paper like that because she absolutely doesn’t bite. Not a single aggressive bone in her. She doesn’t even have to be held or anything to get blood work.
