With my husband home (instead of at the golf course) every morning when it is cool, we have been working hard at training our two boys to walk calmly in our neighborhood. They have been doing very well, and no longer bark at neighbors, other dogs, and/or service providers. Today I decided to use the "y" leash link that Gus used when walking with our little Beau. Beau was close to Gus's size, and they were able to walk together while Tyrone went with my husband...but Tyrone weighs almost twice as much as Gus, and in the past he would drag poor Gus along. Since Ty now walks on a slack leash with Jim, we decided to try again, and they took their morning walk side-by-side...at times even shoulder-to-shoulder. So proud of them!
