if you keep at it and just clip a LITTLE BIT AT A TIME..... then you should be fine, keep some stypic (sp?) powder handy just in case you do nick the sensitive part of the nail........... you might want to try working up to it now (getting her used to handling her paws...... rubbing them....... pushing out her nails......... having the clippers near her while you are doing these things....... and then eventually clipping)....... also, i tried the "nail fileing method" and toby HATED IT, he loves to relax and let me trim his nails with the clippers he prefers it that way........ also, to keep the nails filed down to a managable length you could walk him on pavement
