Gruel is simply something like baby cereal, or crushed dry dog food til it is like coarse meal. Add formula to it and hold it in a saucer under the dog's chin. Might use a little from your finger or a very small baby feeding spoon. The formula must be kept fairly warm so make a just a wee bit and set it in how water to keep warm.
There is a condition called fading puppy syndrome and that can occur no matter how the dog has been doing. The puppy's tummy feels full, and looks really round. They will crawl to a corner and they cry a high pitched whine..Sometimes the benebac, warmth and constant stimulation helps a bit. But, just keep feeding her and letting mom pee and poop her.. or you have to do it. So keep her really warm0her temp should be around a hundred ar a bit below..
