One of our members "yorkiemini" her yorkie actually killed a hawk that was attacking her, because yorkiemini had a garden tool in her yard, (I believe it was a rake) she was accused of killing the bird, she went through hell and high water over this. Here is a bit of a post of hers

Protected or not no matter what it is if it try’s to attack my dog it will be killed yep even an eagle.
