Food related and has given much comfort -- pulled out my dehydrator and got busy
-- processed 25 - 30 lbs of beef into yummy delicious jerky
-- dehydrated and powdered a wide assortment of veges - spinach, kale, broccoli, tomato, mushroom, tough ends from asparagus and my most favorite jalapeno.
Also cooked dry beans - pintos that were powdered for refried beans and garbanzos --some of which were powdered to add to soups and stews and some that were coated with dry ranch seasoning and jalapeno powder for snacking.
--and today, trying for the first time sour cream - a great addition to homemade salad dressings, soups, stews, etc. |
