I remember back when I first joined I couldn't navigate anything, and boy did I make mistakes, could only page over by accident and was totally lost as it was my first forum ever. Had lots of generous members leading through figuring it out eventually. Lots of great info, opinions, fellowship, discussion, even argument at times, but mostly help and support here.
