It sounds like he may be in some kind of pain or discomfort. Are you seeing any blood or mucus in his stools? If yes, then this is an emergency and he needs to be seen by a vet. When this happens is his tummy kind of hard or is it soft? What are you feeding him, including any treats or chews? How close to feed time does this happen? Is he gassy? You can tell if you hear strange gurgling noises coming from his midsection. Or gently feel his tummy sometimes any gas will move with very light pressure applied, as in petting.
