I was just at the vet for a follow up appt. My vet is trying to only see emergencies and they have the following safety measures in place.

1. Masks are worn
2. Only animals and employees allowed in the office.

When I got to my vet I called them to let them know I was outside and checked in over the phone. They came to get Thumper when the doctor was ready for him. They brought him back and the Vet called me to discuss the issue. Afterwards she called me to go over the results and discuss next steps.

This way it limited who was in their office but are still able to treat patients. They are also running as an Emergency Hospital so visits are now $100.00

Luckily mine was just a follow up so only charged $20.00 for the exam.

Your vet should be able to see your pet and have protocols in place to make everyone safe.

I would go to an Emergency Hospital if they refuse to see you. Also if you can get the episodes on video that will help the vet see what is going on especially if they episode does not occur at the time of examination.
