Yes, this. Chewie would prefer the boiled diet as well, and I had to watch, helpless, when she went on food strike in protest of me having to insist she eats her dog food. It was a very long week. Vet and I are fine with her being on canned food because it was better than her not getting balanced meals. But, the long term impact is pretty significant if they don't eat enough nutrients.
