I so wish they had a moderate calorie version in canned. The canned is slightly too high for his pancreatitis. I believe RC told me the dry matter fat % was around 17% in the canned. Jackson just does best on grain free and with all the heart issues going around, I prefer to feed RC's formulas that are backed by more research. But it's nearly impossible to find limited ingredient grain free food that is low in fat. Weruva's tuna based canned food fits the bill at under 10% fat on a dry matter basis. But I'd love it if RC had a comparable canned he could eat (he can't do the vegetarian, I so wish he could).
I am so grateful for PW and I hear of a ton of IBD dogs who do amazing on it. It's just so simple. Fish and potato does well with so many sensitive dogs.
