My Tibbe would throw cute behaviors but very quickly demand his way with a little threatening growl in that cartoon voice of his, snort, stamp his forefoot, even bark a bit but finally he'd just muscle into my lap, even if it had a laptop in it or I was sewing or stuffing a handmade teddy bear! He was determined enough to push it to one side and I'd let him just to see how far he'd go and we'd finally have our loving session, followed by a romp or nap, whatever he wanted. He always got whatever he wanted even if it took him 5 minutes to get me there. But finally, I learned just to give in as soon as he asked as that always made me happier than whatever I was doing anyway and having lost Yorkies before, I knew each time was evermore precious and over far too soon.
