I’d keep working on the drop command (practice makes perfect), but For a quick fix one thing to try is redirecting him. If he has something in his mouth that’s not good, offer to take him for a walk so hopefully he’ll spit out what’s in his mouth and come running up to the door for his leash, or offer him a ball or whatever toy that he likes throw it for him and see if you can get him to chase it and leave what he’s got that he’s not supposed to have that way maybe you can get the thing away from him without getting bit.
